Power Washing and Roof Cleaning Forum

Last summer I got my first commercial job cleaning out and repairing gutters at a retirement facility.  I subbed out a guy to repair the gutters about 50ft worth.  It was my first time operating a boom and the same for the gutter guy (he does residential).  After about an hour I was getting pretty good at it.  Anyways, we had a resident on the bottom corner room ask us to look into why he gets all the runoff from the valley on the roof down to his patio.  There was no valley deflector on the gutters, so we installed one while we were there.  While we were 30+ ft up in the boom working on the gutter, the lady that lives on the 3rd floor decided she wanted to lay out on her patio.  I proceeded to ask her if she could wait in her room until we were done so that she wouldn't get hurt if something fell.  She just gave me the flat tire sound,threw on her blueblockers, and  laid down on her lounge chair.  I guess all I could do was laugh.
