Thanks guys, I was just concerned about messing the pump up by adjusting the screw. I did it towards the end of last year after removing those junky accumulators.

 I heard they had Flo-Jet make them with different seals. They are the 70psi/6gpm versijet rebranded for powerwash store. 

Like Mario said, they may need adjustment as they break in. The cycle will tell ya when they need adjustment.

Zach we use these on the everflo pumps and other pumps.

They allow us to adjust the output from the pump. We often brush the chemicals onto walls using telescopic poles and these allow us to turn the output way down.
Basically you can adjust the speed of the pump by turning the control knob up or down.

This will allow you to set the flow and the pressure independently of each other. Similar to the window cleaning controller but higher amp setting.

I put one in our new van but I haven't got the van on the road yet so I don't know how well it will work. I also had to bypass the pressure switch to get it to work.

I always adjust pretty much as Mario stated. I use 30's and then if we need 40's it doesn't change anything. No difference in life but I've been adjusting them since almost day one.

I pretty much do what you do Zach. Sometimes we need bigger orifices for large volume jobs. I have air set up as well but prefer the 12 volt most of the time.

The problem with that is you pay much more than PWMall and by adjusting a FatBoy, you can increase the pressure and increase your distance while also "fine tuning" so it doesn't cycle. The FB can be turned up to as high as 150. I use to set ours around 100 - 120, wherever the cycling would stop with 30's on the gun.

I get the air thing Eric but everyone doesn't have room for air. The compressor takes up a large footprint! The only way I was able to add the booster is we had just enough room for a small footprint generator. Now we can't add anything... done with changing.

I will never use Air, I get that is is more flexible and powerful. I don't need that, 12 volt is simple and great for employees. If there is an issue I want them to be able to figure it out quick.
