After so many problems with truck 1 (the one the 2 1/2 year employee had who left) I started checking things out. Last weekend, 16 hours in the shop, most of which was truck 1. I was told the booster would not turn and was popping the breaker. On Saturday last weekend, I started with checking the diffusers...
In the past, I have used F-13 Gutter Grenade to clean the oxide off of gutters and it works well. I remember reading some time ago someone had mentioned they use Purple Power which costs less. I looked at the instructions on the bottle of Purple Power I have and it warns not to use on painted surfaces. Just...
Hello all, I'm interested in thoughts on the best wheel set up for a larger surface cleaner. I am buying a 28" SC and was assuming I would get the two larger rubber tires in the back and a single swivel caster in the front. I am wondering if using 3 or 4 swivel casters would be better? Thanks for any input.
Any of you guys try this Ultra One yet. I had a house with vinyl shake on it. The lady sprayed wasp spay all over the front of the house and let it bake in for a few months. Ultra One did the trick

After 2 1/2 years, my lead tech walked. He left the unfinished job today, came back to the shop and drove off. I found out when I saw his helper come in. My first thought was they needed something. I was told the short story and that is it! The worst part is I have taken very good care of this person, way beyond...

Over the weekend we attempted to soft wash some blue stone but it just did not come clean. The attached images are the stone after soft washing. The owner informed us someone...

It works like a charm. Great for basement flooding as well. PS...we carry a leaf blower on the truck too but this pumps 5 g...
Hey guys, I am looking for some feedback for a large, high profile parking structure I am bidding on. I don't do a lot of high volume pressure washing so I would like your feedback if you can help. I would prefer not to invest in equipment that I would not really use much but I am willing to bite the bullet if...
I'm about curious what product you like to use when you come across soot from furnace or propane vents that are venting out the side of a structure. I've run into this a few times with some house cleanings on vinyl siding. House mix cleans it up a little but not completely. I have F9 and one restore on the tr...
Some have been approved as far back as the winter, others early spring. All at once they needed to be scheduled. Getting to the residential who are always in a hurry will be fun! Picture 1: All the roofs back side only and building soft wash. Picture 2: Gutter clean out, Roof and gutter brightening in the...
Hey guys I've got this white soffit that has some brownish red stains. I used the house wash mix to hit it and it didnt really do much. Tried scrubbing with purple power and an extension brush and that helped but they are still there. Any ideas? A roof mix? Or I have seen tsp being used for stains? Have some g...
Ever since the EPA found just one more thing to regulate, I have HATED the new approved fuel containers. Since I was a child cutting grass, I have filled thousands of tanks on small engines without issue. I first found my hatred with these new approved containers when it seemed to take three hands to ope...
I went to look at a local cidery because their three year old standing seam roof looks real bad. The only thing the maintenance guy could tell me is they think it is coming from the CO2 exhaust. I called back today to see if he can find out what else is in the exhaust. As you can see in the picture with an arrow p...
I needed #12 O rings and wanted Viton. Finding them was a bit difficult. Most sites have either decimal or metric. First I went to this O ring sizing site to get the different types of sizing. Then I went to The O-Ring Store to order the O rings at a fair price.
Last week I did my first cedar shake job! I got the job and had been planning on it for weeks. Between what I read on the forum and talking with Brett Thompson and my brother Greg Helms who works for Blue Ridge I was able to get it tackle this one. I was prepare to start this job all by myself. A week before I wa...
We have a job to clean a synthetic slate roof. The tiles are made of rubber. I researched but could not find much on cleaning it. I found one post that stated using the standard SH roofing mix is the correct way to clean it without issues. Do you concur? Has anyone else had experience with synthetic slate?...
Hey guys, We use a Fatboy pump at 100 psi. When spraying, we usually have the valve wide open. However if we spray with the valve partially open to limit the amount of flow near the edge of the roof, the pump rapidly cycles on and off. We use the four banger nozzles. I believe someone some time ago mentioned...

Guys, We soft washed vinyl siding that is about 20 years old. The owner called us back because it had streaks. We came back the next day and re-rinsed it. I inspected it after it was pretty much dry and it looked very clean. However that evening the owner called again. This time the siding looks spotty / bl...
While most people were sleeping in we did demos for the local Board of Education. This dryvit was never cleaned before. The board is extremely pleased. Hank
I am sure one of my trucks has an injector issue so I started searching since a complete injector replacement could be around 2K. I found this from Sea Foam and thought I would share it in case others could use this approach.
