That looks pretty cool Art! Are we still looking into Ed's guy or work something up on our own?

Keith is working on a banner and logo. I gave him some basic ideas of what we're looking for. His exact words were "Give me some time to mull it over". Keith is not known for working quickly. When he finally comes up with something, Im sure it'll be good.

These emails transpired this past week:
For the logo and banner theme:
The guys seem to like American stuff, like an American Flag incorporated into the theme/images. I also like the back of the small mail-out cards you just made for me. It shows roof, house, gutter, and window cleaning in a small space. Maybe it would be cool to put some of these images faint in the backround. So the logo will say National Soft-Wash Alliance, then have some faint images in the banner showing roof, house, window, a gutter pic and then something American, like a flag or flag colors with stars.
They made the forum lighter as per your suggestion. I think theyre ok with the color now. Here's the link again to the website http://nationalsoftwashalliance.activeboard.com/.
Is this enough info to get it started? What else do you need? I know nothing about navigating forum administration privileges so I cannot help much after this. Once we get this thing started I will hand this over to Ray Wilkinson in Fla.
Thanks,Ed

This is a recent email from Keith. If you agree on the direction, say so. If not, say so.
Hello Ed,
some questions/thoughts/ideas on the logo to get it rolling in the right direction:
1) I was thinking they may want to brand it primarily as "NSWA" (with "National Soft Wash Alliance" as smaller text and "NSWA" as larger text). Thoughts?
2) Graphically I was thinking something where the stripes of the US flag would transition into looking like a soft water spray. Thoughts?
3) The overall look of logo should not be overly detailed. Instead, more clean, modern and stylized with some subtle/slick accents/effects to give it some pizazz. Thoughts?
4) On the website it looks like someone dumped the background image altogether, which kinda of makes it all look plain & old school, but we can deal with that when we come to it.
Please let me know on items 1, 2, and 3 and we'll get this rolling into design stage, thank you!
I'm not sure what your opinion is on the logo, But its not doing it for me. How about something like this. What ever you guys think is OK with me. But thats not a $250 logo in my book. I think the bumper sticker is better
I like what Art posted more then what Keith did.JMHO.

I kinda agree Art. I just wanna hear from everyone. Even if you don't like, , , it can lead us to an agreeable final proof.

I don't think that logo is worth $250. I think Keith can do a lot better then that. I was just playing around with Vista Print to get a better idea of something.
These statements were made by Keith (as shown earlier in this thread):
1) I was thinking they may want to brand it primarily as "NSWA" (with "National Soft Wash Alliance" as smaller text and "NSWA" as larger text). Thoughts?
2) Graphically I was thinking something where the stripes of the US flag would transition into looking like a soft water spray. Thoughts?
I was expecting something else also, but the logo doesn't deviate too far from what he said he was going to do.

What I dont like:
The font of nswa, and the flag doesnt transition into spray the way I imagined it.

I was thinking the same as you Ed. What happened to the spray part of it. Also we need a header more then the logo.

Well, the guy laid it out and we told him to move forward. We need to give him a chance to come through. I will relay the feedback to him.

I think this is better. It looks cleaner, more corporate. I think this would go nice with the right banner.
Its better. Art's logos are comparable. There is something about the flag under the "W" that doesnt sit 100% with me.

New water drop. If ya'll agree I'll tell him to start the banner. Going with Keith, his logo, and banner is the groups idea. I don't want to carry this alone. So speak up!
Well I hope you didn't tell him to make it Ray's piss green!
We got 3 new members today, not bad
