I haven't spent the $1000 plus to get and official system, but I did buy a strong shop vac from HD specifically for gutter cleaning. I also ordered the 20' flexible hose and many extension wands and the "gooseneck" so as to do it from the ground. My success hasn't been what I was hoping for, but I'll keep working on it. The potential to save time and climbing is definitely there.
