Back in May we were killing it, expected the slowing down during school starting up, work didnt pick back up much since then. We worked 2 days this week. On the brite side, not much for next week right now, but we did put this in the bank today!
That will pay some bills!
Funny thing, when I clicked this I thought it was recent. And I'm thinking "dam, every bodies killing it but me". Lol, I went back and saw the thread start it May. Somehow we're moving along but not like spring time. This was a strange year. Our numbers are down from last year but we tightened up and I'm actually putting more coin in my bank.

This whole season has been busy but Sept and October were by far the busiest we have ever been. I am trying to fit 5 days of work into the next 3 days and then I am taking a week off to relax in Mexico before the stress of our winter business starts up - snowplowing/roof top snowremoval/ice dam removal.

We are still working albeit not with the numbers we had hoped for. Majority are small projects.

We have just finished our annual exterior applications to control over wintering pest like lady bugs, cluster flies, spiders and wasp. Has been a good year for roof treatments and pest control. I hope we can squeeze in a few more roofs and then we go into exterior rodent control for winter.

Wish I had your guys problems on the busy thing. In my area this is a very hard business to sell people just don't get it or the benefits of a clean roof or surfaces

Shea,
If it's any consolation we've all faced the same dilemma when we first started. As contractors it is our responsibility to generate awareness and educate the residential and commercial property owners as to the benefits to a algae free roof or exterior surface. Keep pushing forward and you'll reap the benefits of your efforts.

So far the busiest October and November yet. We are scheduled a couple of weeks out, and booking jobs for the spring. weird how people wait until it gets cold out.

Yeah, that's weird. We're busier than we've been all year. Didn't expect that. We've got 70's right now though, so it's still really nice.

I'm here keeping things going scheduling out two weeks now although we were booked three weeks all season. I just noticed buds and small blooms on my Lilac bush yesterday! Thirties at night, 60's + during the day. We'll just keep going until we have to schedule for next season..

Keeping busy with house washes, roof cleaning and some commercial work. It's cold up here so we are starting later than normal. 2017 is already shaping up for us on the commercial side.
