I had good luck with the GP Hi-Draw also,.if that's the one you're talking about Art? I only USED (2),..with the third having been put in very late in the season. Very good deal when they are ;asting like that.

Thanks for keeping me updated on this Art,..starting to make me re-think the whole product marketing end of this business. Although truth be told,..I think his idea will be copied more than bought. But I could be wrong.
Looking at that cooler sprayer makes me feel really good about taking some time and putting actual thought into a actual design. Whether it be my (1) gallon unit or my idea of a (5) gallon hand truck sprayer. These cooler models look slammed together like they were meant to be temporary,..not to mention the pump and battery and switch are all exposed when in use,..at least on the smaller ones ( Can't really see the larger one)
I especially like how the bolts holding the switch panel in place have the threaded ends sticking to the outside about an extra inch,..I mean seriously,..he could simply turn them around for a cleaner look or at least cut them off inside clearance is some kind of issue. But at the bottom of the page on the close up,.it does mention the on/off switch is OPTIONAL ,.Ha,Ha,..you gotta be kidding?
*If they sell,... good for the guy,..he understands the general public better than I do,..whereas me,.I have this issue where I think everyone is logical,..Ha,Ha,.. Foolish me I know. So,.buy away people.
I thought the wooden prototype I made looked "homemade",.but sheesh,..at least it had actual thought behind it. But yes,.this cooler design is simpler than mine to make yourself,.. I will give it that.
I am not saying this thing doesn't or won't work,..and for someone to make it themselves is better than a pump sprayer,..but to pay $169.00 for it is selling yourself short,..you can easily see the build design on it and spend the $60.00 and 20 minutes it takes to put it together. I guess that's the part I don't get.

Jeff how about a regular tool box with a hole cut in the top for the 1 gallon jug. I think the weight will equal out with the battery.

Hey Art,.I think just about any 12V idea where it's all in one is going to be better than a pump sprayer. Whether it be a tool box a cooler or whatever,..my thing here with these VERY simple designs is simply to make it yourself. If someone just don't want to build that's one thing,.but to buy this because you can't build it yourself,..I don't think anyone who can turn on a PC is that inept.
Actually the batteries like the one shown here or the ones I use are only about 3 LBS. and a gallon of liquid we spray averages around 8 LBS.
I personally wouldn't use the cooler type in that particular setup,..he should at least paint them or something to get rid of that slammed together with whatever look.

I'm with you Jeff, we have been building our own stuff since the old days at the RCIA. I personally enjoy building my own stuff. Sometimes I can buy it cheaper, but its fun just figuring it out.

Yes Art, Very gratifying. I mean yes,..there are obviously many things we have buy,.but with certain items,..they either don't make it,.or it isn't what I want.

You should make a profit Jeff! The price is real fair. A deal from Russ is pushing $300.00.

Hey Michael,..I don't even have anything to take a video,..Ha,Ha,..I used to be a gadget guru years ago,..car stereos, video cameras, etc.. I need to get something though so I can make some videos of some of the the things I make and use. I still have a flip phone,.which I prefer,.simply because if I had a smart phone I would be messing with it all the time,..because I do love the technology, but I don't want to be one of those people I see CONSTANTLY looking at their phone.
I wanted to get a GoPro for video some of my fishing trips but I just never did,..thats good,..'cause fishing sucked this year.
