Would it be safe to assume if a razorblade can't remove the contaminant then no cleaner can either?
No. Residue and or chemical reactions often require an acid or combination of scrubbing and heavy cleansers to remove them. Razor blades really are best for other types of deposits like bird droppings or heavy soils.
