I bought a shooter tip but I think they are for those who use a pressure washer. I saw no benefit at all with a 12V.....just a waste of $30....:{

I use them all the time to shoot roofs and house washing. They work great for me.

We use JVH shooter tip often. We have others as well. With the JVH tip we have reached four stories / 42' as seen in this photo. It's about having options.

The shooters hold the stream together better. It helps it shoot further.

Hank,
I assume that is with a pressure washer and down-streaming?

Gotcha....Thanks.
I just figured I would try one with a 12V. Even if I could only get another 5' it would be worth the $30....but I really got nothing.

I've been using 30 & 40 brass shooter for three years and notice a difference with both 12v and down streaming. I have tried other tips but the orifice is too big and doesn't get the distance. I'm waiting on two new ones to arrive so I cleaned the old tips and drill the bevel out to clean that up. They are shooting like new again. I tried to buy some from a guy that requests everyone contact him on FB but he didn't respond so I guess he doesn't want to sell them. Russ was happy to help me.

BUMP!
Just curious what everyone who uses shooter tips what are your favorites?
I need one for a 4GPM pressure washer.
need it soon as this is our busy season for exterior washing and many of our homes are 3 stories
prefer not brass as i cannot trust my guys dropping wands and deforming tips but if they work better, I'll man the gun

i'm 100ft above sea level and i'm flooding!
cant complain after Doug's story though.
now if they drop the gun they'll just break the plastic part off inside the gun!
No Rain here in Holbrook, good point on the tip
I'm at the bottom of 2 hills so it just pours in!
Still, prayers to Doug and everyone down south who were affected.
