Mike, I know Hammerheads are cheap but that's what I use and had to replace my stock swivel that came with it. Below is a link where I bought mine (West Palm Beach). This one comes with a zerk grease fitting and lasts much longer than the sealed bearing swivel that come stock with it.
The sealed swivel practicly exploded. I heard a loud POW (sounded like a fire cracker) and game over. I give it a shot of grease about every other use.

My hammerhead/general surface cleaner crapped out on me after 3-4 months. The swivels are famous for this.
Call Bill at power wash store. For $330 he has a kit that turns your hammerhead/general into a $900 Mossmatic!

Mike try putting a grease fitting in the hole. You will need to tap it out. Then grease it. It may work.

Yep. I think they received enough complaints about the new sealed swivels failing and went back to the old school design. The sealed lasted about 6 months and this replacement with the zerk grease fitting has been going strong for over a year.

We have 2 Whisper Wash surface cleaners that work very well. The first is almost 2 years and the second is just under a year. We have never had any issues other than some clogged nozzles.

We have been doing more concrete pressure cleaning lately and have been seriously looking at the Whisper Wash. What a great excuse to buy one and have the Hammerhead as a backup!

Hey now! 28" surface cleaner? What are you trying to compansate for there Andy? You must be getting some or gearing up for more commercial work with the uprades your making or are you just looking to knock out a standard driveway in 3 minutes?

I have done a 1/4 mile of housing units for HUD. consisted of 44, 1 & 2 story bldgs. All sidewalks, porches, vinyl, krud on bricks and shingle roofs. After the third one I wanted speed. I have mostly 4 gpm units with one 5.5 gpm. I bought a kit to hook the small ones together. It makes a difference and with the wheels you can actually enjoy a drink and wash at the same time.
