I have been using Purple Power at about a 50/50 ratio with water. It still takes a quite a bit of elbow grease and time.

I always use the juice and a degreaser only when needed. The reason for this is I pretty much always have clean streaks from roof cleaning. If I just use a degreaser, the clean streaks are still visible. Don't really have to use elbow grease, usually just wipe rinse and bam.

We use Gutter Grenade until the weather gets to low 60s, then switch to Gutter Zap or Purple Power if the gutters need a cleaning. I do not even offer it once mid September hits as an add on service. Most customers are pretty much OK with it, as long as they know up front. We have also use Awesome. It works similar to purple power.

Simple Green? Hmmm, never tried that on gutters. Works good?

Works great Ed. I switched to it last year, figuring it was one less chem the guys had to mix. We brush it on at full strength, and it cleans about 95% of the gutters we run into. The other 5% get cleaned with a strong mix of F13 or are already in such bad shape that they need replaced.

F 13 is what we use. Works good on most gutters, but some gutters just can't be cleaned.

F13 here. But I think I'll try out Purple Power or Simple Green. Shipping cost of chemicals is crazy, I think I read somewhere that you can get a 5 gallon container of purple power shipped to Advanced Auto at no cost and just pick up there.

I didn't have any luck with the purple power, but I will try it again.

We have great luck this year with just using roof mix on gutters. A few times, we had to get out the brush but, for the most part, we just spray it on and rinse off.

Has anyone used Panel Bright from Southside on gutters? I read somewhere that it might be good.

We get the purple power in a 2 gallon container for about 15 dollars and brush it on at about 50% mix and I have never had it not work, even in the cold..

We switched over to purple power once the temps were in the 50's and have been pleased with the results.

Purple Power works great in the proper temperatures,..or at least lower temperatures with direct Sun shine. Forget 50/50,...full strength is twice as good, Ha,ha,..
For those of you who chose to use it,..Advance Auto will deliver for FREE on any purchase over $75.00,....and at around $25.99 per 5 gallons thats only three buckets,..I order 20 buckets at a time,..delivered to my doorstep,..and at the same cost the store charges,.. I always try to be there to help the UPS guy though.
Purple Power works excellent for these Central, Pa gutters,...But..as stated above,..the temperature does have to be right,..as with any gutter cleaner.

Another thing about gutter cleaners,..whichever product you choose,...they are much more effective when applied with a pump sprayer,..why?,....I'm not sure,..might be the air gets into the product and activates the cleaning agents better, or the the bubbles that are created buy the air, makes more cling to the gutter as opposed to brushing it on. And it is easier to apply by pump sprayer than by brush,...apply it with sprayer,..then brush to finish.
I modify my sprayers with better hose,..a quality spray wand purchased from Dultmeier,..quick coupler so i can run clean water through the wand,...and I put a tire valve in the jug for simpler air-ups. Compressor already on board and use a tire inflater with a gauge,...amount of air lasts for the whole jug,...especially when you pump it up to 60 PSI,Ha,Ha,.. Hydrostatic tested it to 100 PSI,..so 60 is nothing.

From Linda, Soap warehouse
We suggest our Mighty Max Plus, which is a 10% butyl with a 1% sodium hydroxide to get the black streaks without a lot of brushing if any.

Hey Art,..I may try the Mighty Max Plus next season,..haven't priced it yet. Here's the thing though,..we most likely all use a product that can be applied and simply rinsed in an ideal situation,...but,..I stopped trying to do that a long time ago,...even if it can be done,..there always seemed to be "THAT' spot that didn't come out,...just easier to apply,..brush,..and rinse,..not a big deal on time,...I'm not in that much of a hurry.
I still may give it a try if it's comparable in cost,..which I doubt. Many of these "non-mainstream" products are over priced. Don't get me wrong,..I like to support this industry,..I also like to shop local,..but at some point, they have to compete.

Did gutters on a home the other day as an add on. First tried the roof mix but didnt do the job to well and streaked. Use the purple power and BAM!!! like brand new. I meant to cut it with water but forgot and used full strength. What a difference!
