About two months ago I was out cold calling when I ran into a property manager who took the time to hear my sales pitch. Afterwards I did some follow up emails with recent projects we completed. I never got a response but that was ok as I was generating awareness. About two weeks ago she called me and asked if I would do a demo for a HOA (Townhouses). Of course I jumped at the opportunity. The demo consisted of soft washing the hardiboard on one townhouse.
We supplied a table with donuts, coffee and literature as well as color photos of various projects completed. While the 50 plus homeowners watched in amazement we soft washed the siding, brightened a gutter and cleaned the concrete pad in front of the townhouse.
Before we were finished I was pulled aside and told to prepare a quote for the entire complex, which consists of 48 buildings.
