I now am finding it hard to see if the G/A has died on a roof that is wet and in the shade. Sunglasses help but I need a better brand, can anyone reccomend me a pair that will help me see "The undead "G/A on wet shady roofs?

I use the ones AC's sone sells. They do great job of showing the streaks in sun or shade. Best glasses I ever owned. In fact I need to get the lens replaced. They have been abused but one of the best $130 I ever spent.

We use SolarBat, polarized with a gradient lens. They let you look down though them an the algae appear much more clear. They are also ANSI rated as safety glasses and approved by OSHA. They run about 100 bucks or a little less. Lowes sells a pair of 3M polarized safey glasses that are nice for 40 bucks, but they tend to be a little dark in low light. That is why I switched to the gradient lens, it brightens p everything.

Am I the only guy who cant keep a pair for more than a week? I go to the dollar store and buy like 5 at a time. I like the Barbara Streisand ones.

I use cheap polarized glasses from "Calcutta" for boating and fishing. On the water they make such an incredible difference. The good thing is there about $20 bucks. Im constantly dropping them, kicking them down the driveway, smashing them on the car door etc. It doesnt hurt too bad when I have to replace them.

SolarBat - may cost more but they hold up well to cleaning chemicals.
