I've been asked to bid a rust removal on a stone chimney that I can't reach with a pump up sprayer. My 40' ladder is not long enough but a combo of the ladder and my delavan pump will do it. My question is can I run oxylic mix through the pump? I realize that the pump might be junk afterwards but will it work?

We do it often Hank. I would say sh is more hostile to a pump. I cant really say oxalic accelerates wear on a pump more than any other chemical.

Use a filter. Oxalic may not dissolve completly

Art,
We did and it came out fine. I just didn't take any photos. We rinsed the hell out of the pump and no issues. The pump has been action since.
