Tradional of pure water? Which is better for pressure washers?

One tool that fills the gap between wfp and traditional strip washer and squeegee is the Ettore BackFlip. In the video below you see one great advantage it has over regular traditional tools is that if the window dries out before you finish you simply flip the tool rewet and flip again to finish the job.

While there is no set rule as to which you should use there are benefits and drawbacks to each.
Traditional
Benefits - works on windows regardless of the condition of the frame around them, i.e. peeling paint or flaking glazing, low start up costs
Drawbacks - steep learning curve to get good results, difficult to do in direct sunlight
Pure water
Benefits - cleans the frame and glass, works even in the hottest temps and in direct sunlight, keeps you off a ladder, no residue so they stay clean longer, short learning curve
Drawbacks - higher start up costs, poor window frame conditions will make getting a good end product difficult
So as a pressure cleaner some of these may not worry you. The end product on window cleaning for you might not be as critical as it would be for a company specializing in window cleaning but the benefits or developing a reputation as a pressure cleaner who leaves tghe windows in great condition can't be taken for granted. It's a great way to set yourself apart from the competition.

Hey Tony. Thanks for posting all the info. I watched the whole video. I'm saying to myself "there's no way I could do that without leaving lines somewhere". If those windows come out perfect I give that guy alot of credit.

I am thinking along the same lines. I don't know how I could clean the whole window without wiping off the squeegee

No lines guys. It takes practice but it can be done. But I love the short learning curve that wfp offers to buys just getting their feet wet in window cleaning or as an add on for pressure cleaners.

As far as wiping off the squeegee goes when poling like I was in the video a simple tap of the squeegee on the bottom frame of the window will remove a ton of water.
