Here's some feedback on OdoBan (Home Depot) if you are going to try it in the future for Soft Wash roof cleaning or exterior house washing. The citrus sucks and doesn't mask that great but the lavendar works very well. 1/3 of a gallon to a 65 gallon tank completely elimanates the smell.
The downside to the OdoBan is that it's not SH stable and will kill the mix in 24 hours because it contains isopropyl alcohol, so mix what you are going to use for the day. isopropyl alcohol, or most commonly known as rubbing alcohol, is great for controlling sudes in a tank but not so much for retaing the a "hot" mix.
We have used lemon ade this summer and it work good. We have switched to AC's rain fresh scent.

Ray, have you tried Russ Johnson Lemon Ade?
Doug, I bought a gallon from him about 8 months ago. It works good to tone down the SH scent in my roof shingle Soft Wash mix and exterior house wash mix. Very concentrated (a little goes a long way). I like trying different additives once in a while but Russ's Lemon Aid and Green Apple from Flora Mask are the top two so far. A little pricey but 4-6 oz.s per 65 gallon tank is all it takes.

For the heck of it I tried Odoban Lemon. I mixed a gallon of it with 60 gallons of solution. It did a good job masking the SH odor.

I got in a pinch this week at the courthouse and the fresh air intake on the roof was sucking in roof mix fumes. Dumped a 1/2 gallon of "simple green" in 100 gallons of mix, worked like a charm!

Simple Green!? I'd rather smell SH any day! Lol
I'm a big fan of Russ' Cherry Bomb.

Guess what. The HO emailed me with photos showing some stains still remained. We did go back and retreated the areas. That rarely happens to us. Now I'm wondering if the Odoban counteracted the solution. Has this happened to anyone else?

I tried Odoban once but use Fabuluso (sp) when I want to mask the smell. I seldom mask the smell anymore since my customers know we use SH. When I use Odoban I don't recallany call backs.

We did a roof over the weekend and the HO commented on the "bleach smell". She said she liked it! It smells clean. Does anyone know of a fragrance that smells like bleach that I can add to the mix?

It's about $9 and it works out to be about $3 per 65 gallon tank. http://www.homedepot.com/b/OdoBan/N-5yc1vZ4iu
