Rotary Vane Pump, Stainless Steel (V-Band) 5.3 GPM, RotoFlow • BUNA SEAL
Additional Information
Positive Displacement Rotary Vane Pumps: An excellent choice for handling clean fluids such as tire cleaners, presoak chemicals, spot-free RO water, foam brush solutions, oils, syrups, inks, dyes, acids, etc. Unique design handles liquids with low lubricating characteristics at relatively high pressures. Pumps should be protected from matter larger than 125 microns.
Pump Characteristics: • Viton sealing parts for added chemical resistance (1300/1500/1600 & PO300 series) • Replaceable brass or stainless housings • Self-priming • Three-bearing design for pulley or direct drive • Carbon graphite internal vanes, bearings and liner provide no metal to metal contact for long life and quiet operation • Available with relief valves to protect against over pressure (1300/1500/1600 & PO300 series) • Mounting flanges for direct mounting to C-face motors or V-band mounting for "carbonator" motors with "y" frames • Maximum temperature is 150 Deg. F. (190 Deg. with special seals). Maximum viscosity is 500SSU.
Designed for close-coupled pump applications. Ideal for compact pump/motor applications. Slotted 5/8" shafts are designed to accept flat-shaft pumps such as Procon or Rotoflow brands.
Specifications: • 1-Phase, Open-Drip-proof • 1725 RPM • Rated for continuous duty • Automatic overload protection • Frames are 48YZ • Rotation can easily be changed in the field if required.

Hey there Art ... Thanks for fixing my signature and profile for me.
The rotary vane pump has worked very well for me compared to the Wayne pump i was using.
The Wayne pump does a great job for those that can not afford the carbonator pump as you can spend $160.00 for a Wayne pump or spend spend $ 600.00 plus for a carbonator pump. The drawbacks to the Wayne pump is that the brushes in the motor seem to wear out very quickly.
The carbonator pump is in a league of its own and works flawlessly and will give any system the boost it needs. The 1/2 HP motor is awesome then putting on a 5.3 GPM pump its hard to go wrong. The carbonator pump runs just as quiet as any other booster pump like the SHURFLO pumps that a lot of people are using. The only thing bad about most of the pumps out on the market is very few if any come with 1/2" ports compared to most have 3/8" ports. What i have seen is the ones that do have 1/2" ports are transfer pumps which is great if your working off a tank system but they do nothing for you if your trying to work off a 3 to 5 stage system RO / DI system.
