Guys, I heard about this stuff, researched it and tried it. The stuff works and I highly recommend it. It's called Krud Kutter and can be purchased at Lowes or Home Depot. Below is a 5000 psi ball valve that was ready to be tossed because it has so much rust on it. I sprayed it down, let it set for a few hours and here are the results. For smaller rusted parts I have poured a whole bottle into a large jar and soak them over night. The stuff is like magic!

Thanks Ray. I'll add this to my chemical list for spring purchase.

Hank, this stuff is awesome. I won't pitch anything unless I try it and I like the results. I have been through 3 bottles already. Sprayed down surface rust on my trailers (work and boat) and it just eats the rust away.

Well that's a ringing endorsement.

Too expensive. Try oxalic acid. Acids remove rust and mineral stains.
