Hey Brian, I did it once several years ago,.. I did it because I thought I could make it quieter by using a car muffler and running it under the trailer,Ha,Ha,...I left the original muffler in place,( Exhaust bolts would probably have broke off if I tried to remove them),...anyhow,...I'm pretty handy at cutting and welding so I made an attachment that went onto the outlet of the original muffler, 3/4" pipe if I remember right. Welded the fitting over the exhaust outlet and then with a 90 degree I sent it right through the floor and welded the pipe to the trailer floor to take the stress off the original muffler. Then attached the car muffler,..thought it would be quiet,..Ha,Ha,..it wasn't much different,...it was a Honda GX390 and it had a lot of "engine" noise,..so I basically wasted my time,..other than I learned something.
Just thought, maybe you meant the exhaust from a hot water "chimney"??

I use flex pipe and cut a hole in the floor and ran it under truck. I did it for the fumes not the noise.
Any of you guys ever pipe an exhaust of a PW .
