I had to close my eyes as I couldn't stand the sight of someone causing irreparable damage to the roof shingles. This so called contractor didn't advise the homeowner that the use of a pressure washer can and will void the warranty of their roof shingles. The gutter was probably full of shingle granules once they were finished.
In the future I hope all residential and commercial property owners visit the National Soft Wash Alliance to find a fully insured roof cleaning contractor in their area.

Good thing they added 5-7 years of life! That is disgusting. The roof will last longer if the "experts" had not shown up at all.
Attention Homeowners:
Please do your research before hiring any contractor to clean your roof. You found your way to National Softwash Alliance, so take the time to educate your self on the softwashing method of roof cleaning which will not harm your shingles, and is a method approved by your shingle manufacturer.
All of them say the same thing-- DO NOT USE A PRESSURE WASHING SYSTEM OF ANY KIND.
Trust us when we tell you, this bad contractor is using a lot of pressure. This is really painful to watch.
Please consult any of the contractors on this site and ask them about their genuine softwashing method, which never uses a pressure washer to treat and clean your roof.
In Western PA, please call us:
