After the first generation AquaDapter (shown in the video) you have been able to screw the tool on the end of your pole threads. The newest model is extremely light as well.

To tell you the truth Tony. When he started to cut the pole, I was like, I can't do that. I don't like chopping stuff up.

The manufacturer asked me to remove the video where I showed how I did the same thing to my pole. They were concerned because it was outdated advice and they didn't want confusion as to how their device worked. They asked the supplier with this video to do the same. I guess they decided not to. On the upside you can replace the end piece on your pole and it will be good as new. Just a couple inches shorter.

I hope they have stuff for window cleaning in NJ march 5th, I would like a decent system to get into it.
