I haven't needed to run my pump like that since switching to the Pentaflex. I'm glad it worked out for you.
How long did the pump last since using that setup?

You can get a Fat Boy relay at any auto part store for about $6. It will need a slight tweak when wiring it up. You have to jump 2 of the terminals. Very easy. Just a heads up in case you ever need one in a pinch.

That's exactly why I'm giving this one away Ed... I use the automotive solenoid and always get rid of the relay when I get the pump. Barry has great pictures of the set up.

Ok so I got a new Fat Boy and I want to add a solenoid. So I need to cut the Relay off and add the solenoid. Correct?

I think you leave it on Art, Just disconect it and wire up the solenoid.

That's exactly why I'm giving this one away Ed... I use the automotive solenoid and always get rid of the relay when I get the pump. Barry has great pictures of the set up.
