Hoping for a little help with some travel arrangements state side. We are travelling from Aus to Carson for the Softwashapalooza in August and then ducking down to San Diego for a couple of days to check out a brand new jetboat biz an Aussie mate of mine is starting.
We are hoping to fly down to Cabo for a couple of days out of San Diego to get a little Mexican flavor in and was hoping for any tips, advice, flight recommendations, hotel recommendations , restaurants, etc, whatever.
Questions are.
Best way to get from Carson to SD
Best Airline or booking site for flights and Accom to Cabo Mexico
Any other suggestions re this travel.

Cabo won't have a whole lot of real Mexican flavor it's pretty commercialized. Should be fun though, and the fishing is awesome.

Like Eric said, the fishing is great and suggest taking a full day charter (half day is not long enough). Also, learn how to say no to the locals selling stuff. They will swarm you if you show any signs of weekness. LOL.
Also, check out Sammy Hagars bar, Cabo Wabo and also check out Seno Frogs. Both killer places and a ton of fun. Stay off the beaten path or you will become a statistic though (and not a good one).

Thanks guys.
Not sure where you think I'm from Pat but I'll take the advise non the less.
So I have packed the B/P Vest, Map to stay on beaten track, Extra kidney for Cabo Wabo night out, Bottled water, stealy stare for hawkers and fishing gear.
Let me know if you think of anything else.
Thanks
Nick
