The Roof Wizard was contracted to clean the front side of Jubilee Hall at Seton Hall University. The building is a main focal point in the large wheel spoke courtyard and is seen from all angles of the main campus courtyard. It stands a total of 7 stories high, with two floors partially underground, with half exposure. The material was mostly sandstone based panel, with some natural granite panels also. One of the major logistic hurdles was that the use of a lift was not permitted. Also, the school had other bids for pressure washing, that were going to take 3-4 days to complete. The bulding is active and had people in and out all day, so the faster the better. Once The Roof Wizard explained that our process would take a day or less, it pretty much sealed the deal. We were on site thismorning at 8:00 AM and were pulling out at 1:00 PM. Five hours total and they were so impressed, we signed a contract for the Library as well, which is three times the size.
We used one man on the roof spraying down & two rigs on the ground spraying up, with the use of some 40' poles, to coat the building. The biggest help was the use of 2.5" fire hose to rinse with. NO GARDEN HOSES WERE USED TO RINSE AT ALL!!! I dealt with University and go the approval to tap two fire hydrants in front off the building, that put out between 150-180 gallons per minute.
Don't you wish you could have had a little more water to rinse with???... That's brilliant and it had to be a lot of fun playing with that kind of pressure!
Nice Work by The Roof Wizard group!

Thanks.
Steve...it was AWESOME! Ion only puts out about 60 psi, but at 150 gallons a minute....it's ridiculous.
