Been trying One Restore for about a week now. It works for rust on Roofing and Vinyl Siding. But I think the F9 is a little stronger and works better with rust on cement. The One Restore just isn't cutting it on cement. Sure wish I could get the F9 local.

I ordered the four gallon F9 "deal" from the Pressure Washer Store. I still have plenty from last year. One Restore is great stuff but F9 has been doing better with less work on vinyl and asphalt. The one place I use One Restore more than anything is sky lights and windows. I always rinse sky lights when the roof is finished, leaving them crystal clean and some happy customers. If I see windows with spotting, I get out the One Restore. A small amount goes a long way. It took some time to find a way to apply it but now I have that taken care of.

Excellent! You just need a way to get it on the windows diluted.

Speaking of skylights, has any experienced any issues with TSP etching the glass?

Pretty much all the chems we use can etch glass if no rinsed right. SH, CH, F9, TSP, etc.....
like have used F9 to clean rust off glass, but it needs to be a very light dilution. Approx. 5:1 and rinse, rinse , rinse....

I haven't had any issues with etched glass. If any solution gets on a window, we rinse it before it dries.

Aluminum brighter that contains Hydrofluoric is a great rust remover,..just cleaned a real mess from vinyl siding that had accumulated rust the last 10 years from a rusty chimney cap. Worked with one application and two only being necessary for spots I didn't get properly the first time.
I mention this because shipping can be expensive for some and aluminum brightener is a great "Plan B" as it can be found within 20 miles of most of us.
Hydrochloric will also remove rust from vinyl or aluminum siding and also painted surfaces,..and it's cheap,....BUT in my experience,..concrete is a problem,..it will turn it dark,..so user beware,..even drips on nice concrete will be an eyesore.

I need to get some of this. One of the problems I have is the amount of room we have on the truck and I do have to chose what we keep on it.

I was getting it from Window Cleaning Resources but J. Racenstein has a better price.
The five is a better price so I pour it into another container for space. The empty Totally Awesome bottle is about 1/2 gal. if you need to be concerned about space. It goes a long way.
