congrats on landing a big job. I hate to know I had to brush that big monster, though! Softwashing with SH and detergent followed by an aggressive rinse would cut your time down by 75%

What a sweet job for you. I hope you get it! The test area looked god. They should be happy with that and not hire on price alone.

Test spot looks great...but I'm wondering ...should you hit the windows first with the solution then go back and wash them?

I'm with Ray on this one....Go for the softwash with a light SH mix and cut your time by 75%!
Congrats and good luck.
Funny to me is that commercial clients even let their properties get this far into the ugly zone..........

Most companys here think its a job that requires scoffolding and pressure washers and a lot of water and noise .
Until now
There is no video s informing folk here yet how its done with low pressure less water and a much cleaner finish .
the video s are from USA .
I intend to make them . From here .

Shea, I went to price a window cleaning job in Cork Airport recently ( for another cleaning company). The building had the same type of cladding and I asked the building manager if they would like a price to clean it. Anyhow he told me that they already had a window cleaning company doing their work and had no idea why I was there.
However here is the interesting bit. He said the cladding had been cleaned recently using hot Purified Water because it would have voided the manufacturers warranty to use any type of chemical on it. It may or may not apply in your situation but if you do use chemicals ask them are they ok with you doing so. If you get a yes do a small test area, weak solution and check it afterwards to see if it leaves the surface looking dull. Best of luck with it.

michael i have just check on-line with a few metal cladding manufacturers and they all state cleaning with a softwash is OK for removing mould and algi they even give you dillution levels for using SH ,
maintenance of metal cladding has all the info.google
quite glad i researched that there good points on organic paint and no organic painted sheets.
a would go back and tell the airport guy his cladding is no different to any others. Mould removal is with SH on a few of the cladding manufacturers web pages under mould removal and cleaning.
thanks michael.
now a feel more armed to explain my process to commercial property owners and the facts are online with there unit manufacturers how to clean cladding properly.
thanks mate.

Learned somethin already thanks for your response.
This could be my first big job washing a industrial unit covered in green algi .
I did a test wash today to see if my purewater system and extending pole would work or if a woukd have to make
My first SH mix and try that .
But luckly enough R.O water works a treat a little bit rubbing to lossen it of its grip on metal cladding .
I have put a price in for washing it
Without the use of ladders or scaffolding
Its my first job this size so not to sure what to charge a just when for it .
