Tonya was just out submitting a bid on the apartment community. Property manager mentioned that one of his bids was from a painter who was planning on pressure washing the stucco exteriors of 29 buildings. Manager said he didn't want his stucco pressure washed, but painter replied " it's okay I've already got a line item in the bid package for stucco repair for damage that we cause."
Sure enough, there was a line item on that bid for stucco repair. Manager was very happy to know that there was a non-damaging alternative with soft washing! Pretty sure we will get this one!

Ray,
That's both funny and scary. I almost choked on the boston creme donut I was eating.

Its been my experience that a lot of painting companies will do that and tear up the surface just to get a repaint out of it.

Yup... Never ask a barber if you need a haircut too!
ive seen that before, as far a painting companies intentionally damaging the surface to get a repain't, but I've just never seen a line item for repair specially with a only a wash job.
