I have been washing my Whites with Clorox 2. https://www.clorox.com/products/clorox-2-stain-remover-and-color-booster-liquid and it seems to clean them better. They say to brush it on the stain to make it work better. I'm wondering if this stuff would work with cleaning canvas awnings. It has a color brighter in it. I think this stuff may work good.

Hey Art, I may be mistaken,..but I think Clorox 2 and any other color safe bleach uses Hydrogen Peroxide (Liquid) or Sodium Percarbonate (Powder),.. as it's active ingredient. Both are essentially the same thing.
If an awning is very moldy I can't imagine this stuff working as well as Sodium Hypochlorite and soap.
It would be ok as a maintenance cleaning detergent,..as Sodium Hypochlorite will damage fabrics over extended use.

Hydrogen Peroxide and fabric brighter according to the labile. There's nothing there that says don't add bleach. They say to brush it into the fabric for better cleaning. Like I said it cleans my whites and I think it may work on awnings to get them cleaner. I'm going to have to wait until next Spring to try it. Unless one of the Florida guys gives it a try!

Not sure about Hydrogen Peroxide liquid,..but Sodium Percarbonate powder mixed with bleach will make a volcano of soap bubbles.

Works fine in my washing machine. Needs some testing on awnings. But I think it will work good if you can use less S/H
I use the same ratio as I do with my house wash and get fantastic results. I wet down the awnings first then apply. Let it dwell for about 10 minutes and rinse. Then rinse again. (rinse until you do not see bubbles from surfactant/soap)

Ray one of the reasons I'm looking into this stuff is the color brightner in it. It should help.
