aye did a wee demo on his roof to show him the softwash way , he is impressed buy it and is now looking at selling my services to his customers when they have purchased a house i did nt do my usual and mix the buffer tank up with the mix this time i used my ALGO CLEAR MIX BOX its a dosatron chlorine injector it is weaker but a just sprayed it twice to get the effect you will see at tap pressure you just hock up the water supply and then drop the down stream pick up pipe into your SH and it picks it up a used about 3 lts out the tub on this roof
we scrapped it of moss first this is also a job we will offer scrape clean then spray charge double. or spray and let nature do it he is happy to sell both of these to his clients but a have to give him a set price on 2 bedroom houses 3 bed 4 bed and so on so he know how much it will be to get my services i am also looking into making a deal with them to be cheaper through him rather than calling me direct only if your using his services selling or buying
this little box is so easy to use with a extension pole and shower head fitting or brush for walls.
no electric needed just a outside tap or you can use a pump and use it just the same
simple set up for a newbie and cheap also compared to a skid unit
fancois moal at algo clear can set you up with this set up and all attachments extension poles with scrapers and brushes
we did nt rinse the roof we only hit it twice with the mix box

What does the Algo Clear system uses 3 "lts" of SH on this tile roof and the rest is water,..sounds like DS'ing?
First what is LTS? Can't be litres?? Second,..I'm interested in knowing more about this system.
Third,..what percentage is your SH over there?

Hi Ginty, I see that Algo Clear was formerly Moss Go. The prices they charge are crazy in my opinion £120 ($191 for a 12v pump) £504 ($805) for the "Algo Clear Injection Box" just to mention two of their items. £60 ($95) for 10ltrs of the Algo Chemical. I bought the "Moss Go" once can't say I was blown away by it.

Ok,..now I'm a skeptic,.. Less than a gallon of SH on that tile roof, or any roof for that matter is a ridiculously small amount of SH. Your mold isn't like ours I guess. DS= Downstrreaming,...throw a pickup hose in a bucket and it draws the the chemical out.
3 Litres to approximately how many gallons of water?

Well I use around 35-45 gallons of mix on a typical ranch house So we'll just figure 40 gallons total. So you maybe sprayed 39 gallons of water to 1 gallon of 12%-15% sh. Even at 15% SH,..Isn't that less than a .5% hitting the surface. Wouldn't work here for roofs,..and probably not even houses for the most part. We use around 2% hitting the surface in a typical house wash.
Is there an activator? Please elaborate on the chemicals used with this process that you can clean roof mold with less than .5% SH.

I would like to know as well. I cleaned a house with the same type of tiles a couple of weeks ago and I hit it with a 3% mix at least 3 times to get a decent result. You say you used dosatron chlorine which is not SH so any more info on it would be great.

Hey Michael,..the "Dosatron" is the tool that mixes the SH and water.
