The weather up here in Michigan is turning colder, I have already had to deal with temps in the low 30's and snow while doing a house wash. We are now booked until November 14th and are having to tell people that there is a good chance of there work not getting done until next spring. Soon we will go from cleaning roofs of moss & lichen to cleaning them of snow. If this winter is anything like last year, the roof top snow removal will once again bring in more money than the softwashing does. We have already contracted with 1200 condo units for roof top snow and ice dam removal and if that was not enough we have the snowplowing that we also provide - It's going to be one very busy winter.
What does everyone else do in the off season, for those of us that get an off season.

wow. hasn't been that cold here yet. And, no snow in the lower penisula, except for a small area north of Houghton lake Saturday morning.

Not really chilly here for October, can't believe how fast this season went. I fear I may be painting my first floor again...I hope not. We had a lot of Snow last year, I like the ice breaking idea maybe for gutters? I will be in Arts work shop watching for next seasons invention.

Heater cables are good if a house doesn't have a soffit.

I'm going to be learning how to do this.
