hi guys got this warehouse wash yesterday morning off the painters that where pressure washing the front of the unit i stopped hit them with my little script aye learned on here from you guys , and well they were hooked as they say , they have spent two days at the front washing it with a little pressure washer on a scaffolding tower , using the chemical injector on the little washer to mix good old regular store bought bleach well detol he had disinfectant , they guys where hard at it let me say trying shift then in comes me ,telling them aye can do that in half our top to bottom without scaffolding ladders or brushes to wipe it of.
they must have thought a was mad ,,, well a went and showed him it working on a very small piece at the rear made a difference but not major impact from a pump sprayer just for test patch so he wanted to see the comparison between his little PW and my softwash set up was only using my little reverse osmosis pump 12 v 1 gpm 100 psi , to rinse it it was working better than his PW and the detol mix he was using as it was still leaving the black stain on the metal coating. haha where as softwash mix applied at pump spray and left on then rinsed at 1gm 100psi through a old spray nozzle from the garden ,was rinsing it of easy.
so round 1 me ,,,,,haha
so gets my 200ltr barrel 50gl fills it drops in ten lts SH 12.5 to mix a 5 % mix and some surfactant in as well lemon then pumped it through my little pump using 3/4 clear braided hose ball valve at the end and a bit lance pipe just to use as a aim for the end of the hose
this is mostly for Enrico benefit this post
this unit is about 8 mtr heigh 3x8 = 24 feet high if my conversion is right we shoot this high easy with just the hose i mentioned with no tips in the end of the hose lance bit was arching up over the roof by about meter ish , all load my pump photo up hose and little ball valve barrel even the warehouse pics.
the pump a used to spray the barrels worth of mix on to the first section washed the loss of and covered the sheeting all over letting the SH and fairy soap dwell on it then a mixed a second barrel up 5 % mix again with soap and pumped it on to the second section , and for good measures a mix a third barrel up and literally covered the full side this time concentrating on the bits aye could still se were dry or not turning brown or rinsing of the pump has a good flow of water and it is defo enough for me to wash these units here ,so that old pyramid should be shooty in lad ,
was it not just a simple string line a chisel and a mallet that built them big old Egyptian pyramids and a bit of ingenuity
ohh just about forgot his guys asked if i could put a wee spray over the front to help them clean it ,haha of course lads , happy to help. Ave to go price a other job for the painters builder guy now ,,,, ye dont ask ye dont get .
a love this forum uhhh uhhh ,,
thanks guys for giving me confidence in softwashing ,
