I know that market prices vary, as well as design setup, full, 3/4, 1/2 and so on for a truck wrap. But I am just trying to get a basic idea of the cost associated with wrapping a full size truck, such as a F150, Dodge Ram etc.
My thought was 3/4 to full wrap to include the hood and tailgate as well. I have just a couple vendors in my market that offer it, but I am a short drive to Orlando, Daytona and Jacksonville.
Thanks
Dwayne

Dwayne, in my experience the best way to go about is to get a budget and give it to 2 or 3 wrap guys and see how far they can stretch your dollar. I used to go big with wraps, but I don't think it's worth it.
Ive been using the same wrap guy, especially since he is 2 doors down from my shop. Before that I went to 2 different places and asked what I can get for $1200. They each took a pic of the truck and provided a mock up. Then I chose who had the best value.
Here are 2 samples of $1200 wraps. The small pick up was a full wrap at about $3k.
That's a thought Ed, thanks. I will hit up my two local guys this week, and if needed expand to other cities. I never mind driving, but I do like spending money locally.

With a wrap it is all about quality. I paid 750 to design it and 2500 to wrap truck.

I've paid anywhere from 750- 1800 for the various wraps I have on spray wash vehicles. I found a fireman who does it part time and charges about half what the big guys with studios charge

This cost me 1200.00. I really don't see a need to get every square inch wrapped. I have seen alot of wraps where the message is so hidden away from all the graphics that you can't even tell what they were advertising.
I was quoted from a friend who works for a marketing company for a 14ft box truck $1400 (possibly the rear door too)
For 2 sides if I wanted to do the application.
Said if I can do wallpaper which is my specialty I could do it myself

That's a good point Michael, too much is just as bad as not enough.
Ray, Mind if I get your guys info? It might be worth the 3 hr drive.

The going rate in Northern Va is $9/sq ft. That's the design and installation/labor.

I will say KEEP IT SIMPLE.......Just as others have said, too much is just stupid because no one cant read or understand it. Your logo is probably one of the least important add-ons to the wrap, If you were Nike or McDonalds then sure, everyone knows your logo so focus on it. Just make your message "Roof & Exterior Cleaning" and/or "Low Pressure" large so they are focal points.
Next is to make sure your phone number is as large as you can make it without looking bad......you do want your wrap to be as quality looking as possible.

My wrap cost $1300 to do a full wrap on my truck. He used 3M's top of the line material. I did the design myself... not super happy about the color scheme/placement/too busy, and this spring I am looking at redesigning it and include my new phone number 503.ALL.CLEAN.
Agree - too busy and it is eye catching, but breaks the 60 MPH rule. If no one can read your message/call to action, it's a waste.
This was 1700.00 for three sides and a wrap would have been 2500.00. I agree with Ed. The 1700.00 job gets the point across well. I got a 700.00 roof cleaning job from him so in the end it was a good deal.

Mike, your wrap and it's simplicity was one of the ones that are used to design mine around. My guys charging about 750 but if I had hair I'd be pulling it out cause down here we have a phenomenal called Cape May-be and it's really starting to piss me off everybody tells me all I have to do is show up for my appointments when I say I am going to be there and the job is in the basket. Let's hope because I'm very prompt

Bryan,
Not sure you really need a full wrap. We do 3/4 wraps and they cost $1350.00. That includes the back window, see through decal too. I can tell you that I track every lead. At the end of the year I run a report from my CRM software and see the numbers. Last year we got 78 calls from truck sighting, and did 54 of those jobs. They pay for themselves over and over again. I attached a few pics below.

This is the new truck with a partially done wrap. The tailgate, back window and sides were 700.00. The bottom bars will be done done and there another 300.

That's really simple. I like it. I'm not doing the wrap right now. For one, the shop is backed up for a month and I need to get some money coming in. I've got a few magnetic signs to get me started. I bought a truck in one of my company colors, hoping to save money on the artwork.
