Aloha everyone! Where are you guys getting your roof racks made? I found a local welder but I am wondering how much do they run, should I get square pipe or round? I want to be able to mount my 3 hose reels and ladders. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
One of our trucks has a steel ladder rack built with both round and square stock. On one side we have two 22" Summit Hose reels and the other side has a Summit 18" reel. They are mounted upside down to the bottom of the ladder rack.

When we were doing mods to our skid we use 2 in square aluminium stock.

If you plan on keeping those racks on for any length of time you want to go with aluminum. Looks like crap when the rust starts bleeding down the side of your truck.

I have the Trac Racks on my truck now, but I'm going back to my Old steel racks that I've had since 1978. They are made well and served me well over the years. Just have to do some wielding to fit my Dodge and they should be good for another 40 years. But I don't think I have that kind of time left.
