If it is just hype, it'll be just one of many accessories that didn't make it. Can't blame a guy for trying to be ahead of the proverbial curve. Perry posted that in 2015 they will only be available on some Reach-It poles.
In 2016 the plan is to make handles that will fit on other brands.

I can't say much about Perry, because I don't personally know him. But I've washed windows for 17 years and I think it's a great idea.
WFP work can be a real wrist strain. The safety program for my guys, has them take 5 minute breaks every 30 minutes and do shoulder stretches and wrist stretches during long WFP jobs. Despite the breaks, they actually get more done in a day.
Everyone has mouths to feed. I think it's an innovative idea

I will give one example here showing why this comes across as a gimmick - here we have a guy attacking other Poe manufacturers on the basis of stress injuries. The irony is that he has, if not the heaviest pole pin the market, one of the top 3. We all know that the heavier the pole the more likely a stress relate injury can occur. Yet this guy wants us to believe he really cares about that.

Because we know that rigidity counts.
When a tool manufacturer designs a pole, he is expressing his values ... it is a core definition of his business model. We make our poles with a wall thickness that will NOT fail them - it will NOT break on the job. The way we do it, we add 2 more layers of Carbonfibre to make sure that our pole sections will not need replacing from wear and tear. We know how to make 'super-light' poles .. we can find the factories that make the Carp Poles that they are based on... it is simply not my interest.
Now ... are we the heaviest pole - HELL NO ! You cannot make a pole lighter than 100% carbonfiber. Only you can make it lighter by reducing the AMOUNT of carbonfiber. If you reduce the amount of carbonfiber, you can also reduce the rigidity.
To us, pole rigidity is important. The more we learn, the more committed to pole rigidity I have become.

The Gardiner Xtreme is lighter than your pole and the stiffest pole on the market so there goes that argument. As for demonizing you it's really just making new or inexperienced cleaners aware of the danger of buying into your brand of truth.
Are you saying you sell 8 full carbon fiber poles and they are all heavier than Perry's? Or perhaps your comparing hybrid and fiberglass poles in your statement. that would be an important fact to know if we are to believe you.
Please trust me when I say not many people really give a flying crap about the intricacies of water fed poles, other than window cleaners. Please find a different forum where to have these rants & attacks. I for one don't want the public coming here, reading this and thinking "what a bunch of MORONS!" Go find a private forum in which to fight it out.
