It's actually pure speculation at this point. More sales tool less real news.

I do know a cleaner in Australia who has made handles for his traditional and wfps. In his case it was purely to aid his control since he had an injury to one of his hands years ago. In his case I see the benefit. It allows him to utilize his equipment more fully. For cleaners with no limitations I still see it as a gimmick.
That being said another cleaner in Australia I truly respect is giving the first cleaners handle mod a go. I expect a truthful, unbiased evaluation from him.
Not pretty, but simple and would definitely help.
Herman is definitely a bare bones type of guy (bloke as he calls himself)!

You have to understand that most of Herman's modifications stem from his having an accident years ago that nearly cost him a hand. He has figured out how to make his tools fit his needs. The benefit is that some of these mods help universally, but not all. For instance he adds marine carpet to his handles to get a better, more comfortable grip. But he himself will tell you that's because he has large hands and it's difficult to use standard size handles. That mod would actually be detrimental to someone with smaller hands.
In the latest issue of e Clean Magazine on page 9.
