I have been getting a lot of large scale flat work (Acres). I like to soft wash and rinse only, when possible. Some of it will require the use of various amounts of pressure/rinsing. I think a water broom will be a valuable tool for some of my applications. Anybody have any suggestions or thoughts where i should look, sizes brands etc? Currently my largest PW is a 4000 PSI (cold), which is sufficient for most of my work and runs my whisper wash classic fine.
On another note, Im considering a big guy if necessary and am sure that would require a PW upgrade. I know I'm being lazy because it has been discussed before but sine were on the subject. 5.6 GPM or 8 GPM sufficient?

Waste of money, IMO....been there tried that...Big guy should have 8 to 10gpm.
4gpm PW'er can take up to 16-19 inch SC
5gpm PW'er can take up to 20-22 inch SC
6gpm PW'er can take up to 24-28 inch SC
8gpm PW'er can take up to 32-36 inch SC

Thanks Doug, I can imagine how a water broom would be a let down for typical surface cleaning. I want to give a bit more info on some of the flat work I have to clean. I will be soft washing all of the flat work. It is a total on two different jobs of about 2.2 miles of walkways 6 to 10 feet wide. my contracts stipulate that pressure will only be used when necessary. For this application and considering how much sq footage there is, I think a water broom would be sufficient for much of it. Using a SC for most of it will be overkill and labor intensive. What size and pressures did you use? What were some of the issues?
