have heard a couple of negative comments from facility managers recently regarding window cleaning with water fed pole. Thought I would share it with the group here. One of our largest window cleaners in the area has moved to water fed pole cleaning, and at least two of his commercial customers are very unhappy with it. Seems the problem stems from not having the buildings cleaned and only the windows washed. By not using any chemicals apage is returning very quickly and within 1.5 months the windows look like they've never been cleaned.
i'm guessing this goes back to the theory of power washing with just water versus soft washing. If you don't do any chemicals and kill the algae, all you're really doing is just bringing it back.
i'm guessing this is going to be more of a Florida/deep South problem that it will be for you northern guys. Our goo grows really quickly here, hence my taillight warranty..... the cleaning is warranted for as long as you can see my taillights!
