Sweet! I bought of of these electric reels in my first van maybe 7 or 8 years ago. The switch has burned out since then but it still works. The motors are bullet proof. These reels really last a long time.

I just got a hannay electric hose reel and its worth the extra money the worst part of the job is rolling the hose up now seems the guys fight to see who rolls that one up. I had a issue with the chain popping off and realized the sprockets werent perfect lined up soon as i fixed it works great

Yes I just went though that, chain was popping off and the set screws came out and the sprocket was moving around. I put lock tite on them and it seem to work.

I just finished my 3rd full day with my new rig. The electric Titans are amazing! Can't help but to grin while filling up those reels.

Quick question on electric reels in general
Do they freewheel when unwinding the hoses

Yes

Eric,..what kind of reels are you using? I'm gonna feel really stupid here maybe,..but my Titan doesn't free wheel when pulling the hose off,..the motor and chain are turning when I pull the hose off the reel. Which makes it harder to pull hose from than a manual reel,.not a big deal really,..unless there's a better way,... Don't tell me there's a free wheel mode on an electric Titan ,Ha,Ha,..Actually,..do tell me that,..I'd much rather not be turning the whole works.

Jeff just a thought, most electric motors can be wired to run reverse from what I remember, maybe you can wire a crossover switch.
But I'd call manufacturer first to answer your question. (?)

Maverick,..the reversible motor idea I like? If you had a remote control that operated the motor it would be more feasible than having to run it from the reel ,..otherwise two people would be needed. Pulling off the reel isn't a big deal,..but the reversible thing is interesting.
Thanks for clarifying Eric,..you had me scratching my head for a minute.

I really did not want to ask the question, but I could not find that answer on any website...
Seems like someone would have put a clutch on them by now
Hmm
