Any of you guys blowing threw soap injecters? I went threw a 1/2 dozen this year already. The one that went today was a week old.

GP, I'm waiting for a work order so I can send them back to GP so they can look at them. They still look brand new. I think I got a bad batch!

That means the ball is stuck. Shoot some wd-40 in the bottom hose barb and push a tiny nail in there to loosen it up.

I go threw about a dozen a year of them things. Nothing ever works to fix them. This year they seen to be going even faster. I will try the wd and a nail thing tomorrow and see if it works
Hank if your going D/S buy 1/2 dozen at a clip and have them ready to go. Nothing like having to stop and build a injector. I have them set up with a plug and a coupler ready to go on the machine. Less down time on the job.

Soap injecters and pull cords are the only things that ever brake on my machines.

We use the same GP, all the time, every day. It might make more sense to buy the rebuild kits instead of buying the whole thing. If you think about it, the body stays the same where as the spring and the 1/8th" o-ring are the only degraded parts. Here's what I can say: If I'm not mistaken you use 4gpm machines at 3500 psi. I used to use the same machine for years and i too always used to have problems. When I switched to larger gpm machines the psi dropped. We use 8gpm machines at 1800 psi max. We've had far less problems since the switch.
My theory is that a higher psi machine is putting more wear on the ball, spring and o ring. Everytime you let go of that trigger the psi can spike around 4000. That is quite a bit of wear on the moving parts. That is 4000psi worth of pressure trying to push that ball pass the 1/8" o-ring. This might be the problem. I may be wrong, but this is what Ive noticed.
