Titan with stainless guts. Should get about 2 seasons out of the guts then just replace them and your back in business. Make sure you rinse them out everyday with about 10-15 gallons of water.

Pat,
My Summit took a crap on me with the manifold rusting through. I switched to my other Summit for now. I'm ordering a Titan 18" with the stainless steel manifold for my roof mix. They will all rust in one form or another. It's the nature of the beast. The only other choice is to use them for storage only with some type of QC.

Like Mike said Titan all the way. I have one in service that is in its third season with no issues, we just rinse everyday, really good.

Huh???
How would you do that?
Pictures please......:}
I bypass our "garden" hose reel because we don't run any water through it; it's just to store the hose. But our residential and commercial reels are used for SH application and I honestly have no idea how you could just bypass the reel unless you had a quick disconnect that would attach directly to the hose itself.
Ahh....thanks. I'd hate to pull all of our hose every time.

I'm not as successful or as good looking as you are.... I can't afford those high price electric reels that would roll all that hose back in for me.....:}

I like the quick connect setup you use. Bought my system used came with cox hose reel and was thinking of changing to a Titan reel. May go with a quick connect setup. Thanks for posting your video.

How about a Hose Reel where the manifold CAN'T rust out...because it doesn't exist. Most reels used for roof cleaning are pressure washing reels designed for water. We don't run water thru them...we run CHEMICALS thru them. This is why I worked with Hannay and designed the first and only reel specifically designed for roof cleaning. It has no manifold. Nada. Reels run anywhere from $500 to $1200 depending on the size of the reel and whether you need manual or electric rewind. Hannay is the only reel you'll see on Ebay where guys are selling them and the tags say 1998, 1995, etc. They are build to last and guys who run them love them. You can either continue to replace reels and manifolds every year or so...or buy one reel that will last.
