All the Forums have been slow. Is everyone busy at work or is Face Book taking over.

Art,
For the most part we've been busy and bass fishing. Still booked out ten days. Thank god. I check facebook every couple of days to support (friends and members of NSWA). Admittedly I've developed some relationships with other contractors and vendors.

We got through the late summer school starting slow down and now busy again. One guy off for a 4 day weekend put me on the truck for those days. I try to keep up and offer my two cents... for what it's worth! I post little on the FB page. Maybe once.

It was my first UAMCC event and I couldn't believe the helpful information I picked up at the convention. Every speaker gave me something I could change or incorporate in my business.
I've recently moved and nine months later and am still struggling to get things going again. Went to the convention with only one goal, and that was to find tips, tactics and sound information and advice to put me back on track. Was really quite impressed on what I came back with.
When I started back in 2009 I joined an organization that really didn't do anything for me and wasn't interested in joining the UAMCC either, but after last weekend that changed my mind. I'm signing up and want to be part of this. You can go for free like I did, but in order to keep this type of sharing going in the future they need members to fund it. The cost isn't really that bad, and if it just influences one potential customer to hire you, it already paid for itself.
I don't usually endorse stuff like this, but in this case I'm making an exception for those out there like me who didn't think it was worth it or are sitting on the fence.....go to next years convention for free and see for yourself.
