I bought a new hose reel and I'm thinking of using this type of hose on it. I hear it's a good hose in colder temps and easy to work with. I use the yellow Kuri Tec now but this seems a little cheaper.
Doug, how flexible is it compared to the Kuri yellow hose?
Ive been looking for a lighter weight more flexible hose to replace my Kuri yellow hose. Kevin Enderle tested some of the Flextech water/air hose which is lighter and cheaper than the Kuri and says it is an awesome hose.

Charlie gave me a 1 foot peace of this hose. He said he used it for 2 years and it worked great. I put it in the freezer for 2hr and its still soft. This is the link he sent me. I think its the same stuff as US plastic kuriyama.thomasnet.com/asset/Tundra-Air-Flyer-2-07-Version.pdf

Hose is pvc, it should work fine. Price isn't bad per foot either. I also get mine through Dultmeier in 300' lengths.

I used it for a couple of years never had a problem. Being light and soft really paid off in the cold months here......Early March.....late October..November. The hose didn't stiffen and was so easy to roll up. I switched last year to the yellow hose eevryone is using...both my part time sprayes were not happy and wanted me to switch back. They said the new hose was to heavy up the ladder and to work with on the roof. I will use it again I am sure........
