Christmas lighting . Is anybody hanging Christmas lights or leasing Christmas lights to customers? It's a service expansion were thinking about offering this year. I'm a little bit behind the eight ball and could use any help that is offered.

We did it two years ago......and all I have to say is.....NEVER AGAIN....
Made decent money but it was really cold and a lot of snow...although you really don't have to deal with that.
PM me or call me, I have a source for leads if you want them. I got about 150 leads in a month from them and sold 14 jobs.
Thanks guys! I appreciate it. Wizard, I'll give you a shout Tuesday!

I know a guy in California that does it. He tried talking me into it and say's he makes great money......I can check with him if you want. I think he is part of some nationwide lead deal.

Anyone doing light services this year?
I'm seeing signs everywhere for the service and am curious what the going rate is in North East region.
Really have no desire to delve in but this is my last week working outside and should not even be doing it this late. But, may try it out next year if it's worth gas money!

I did it one year and never again. If you so not start to market in Sept/Oct. and hang lights by Dec. 1st. it is pretty much not worth it. Customers do not want to pay the price needed to make money for such a short window of use. Our cleaning season ran into the third week of December that year and we were working Saturday and Sundays trying to get the lights up. NOT FUN. It made me say..."I hate Christmas". And I really don't! Especially with a 5 year old. Just my 2 cents.
