I gave a few programs for scheduling and customer database. The one I am using now is House Call Pro and as with the first one, it is lacking and can be daunting at times. Is there one that anyone has found that works without getting a PhD in understanding the computer wiz kinds way of putting things together? House Call Pro, though good for the most part needs some simple fixes but they are slow at making any changes.

Brett, for scheduling and dispatch I have created a board on Google Drive. i have used many other programs but this works great for me. You can add in depth description to each call that will display when you scroll over each box. It's hard to explain everything but I really like it. It's not really a customer database though. I use something separate for that. This is strictly schedule and dispatch.

I have been struggling with the same issue Bruce. Still haven't found anything I'm willing to dedicate the time or investment to yet.

The title is Ed has sent you a file. Not sure how they got my email, but it must have started from here or the inside of sparklit. What makes this confusing is this post is OntheSide. This is one reason we check every new member before We let them in. We are always under attack from these spammers.

It's because I was phished on my gmail and I fell for it. I got an email from a school with a .edu email. I thought it was pictures for a bid. I thought it was legit. It took me to a Google Drive page and I had to enter my password to read the docs. Google then disabled my account and I had to create a new password, by that time it was too late.
I felt kind of stupid after the fact. I should have known better. Google traced it to someone in Nigeria that downloaded everything in my gmail. If you've ever exchanged email with me chances are you will get an email like the one art is talking about.

Anyone I have ever exchanged personal email with will probably get this. I doubt it has anything to do with this forum. Its coincidental that I posted a screen shot of my Google dispatch. I believe Art and i have exchanged personal email before which is why he got it. I know Mike D got it, a few friends of mine and some relatives. They really put the hex on me.

We have been using HCP for about 4-5 months now. When we first started I was same as you, didn't like it, and seemed very hard to navigate...but we stuck with it and love it...in fact my crews and office manager (Laura) sort of made me stick with it cause they like it so much..so I kind of took the attitude that if I'm only one against maybe I should work with it a little more. Now I have Laura put everything in there for me...all my apps estimates, etc....I love that with one click my customers get a text message telling them we are on way, they when we are finished they get a text we are done...I love the fact that with their built in GPS (Via the App) that I can see where my guys are...if I need too.
There have been many issues that we have had, mainly with QB but they have always answered our questions immediately and fixed what could when they could immediately, and in fact even contact us out of the blue asking us for more questions and ways to improve it. Brett I'll be happy to get with you and them if I can help you in any way. After trying out many of these we really are liking it....we haven't even got into the marketing aspects with email and post card campaigns they offer yet. Hope to do that soon. Anyways, let me know if I can help you in any way.
