Have any of you done your truck bed with a DIY bedliner and gotten good results? I have to do mine this year and any money saved is good money

I would shop around and call a few Rhino Liner dealers and get prices. I did that here and the difference in prices was dramatic. One guy was $940.00 and the other was $525.00 for the same thing. I did the bed, rails, tailgate and back bumper (In and Out). I thought the $525 price was fair and I realluy did not think I would save anything doing it myself. I know the DIY stuff is expensive and it takes a little time to do it right. The prep work is really important and I am always rushing around, so I am pretty sure I would not have done it right.

Seems everyone does spray on liners. What does SH do to a drop-in plastic bedliner?

SH has had no negative effects on my drop in liner as we rinse everything after every job/work day. It's just preventive measures.

Yes I have done DYII bedliner, no I did not get good results. I've actually done it on two vehicles. Each time it cost me double what I had planned to spend.

the thing with drop in liners, is that if the water/sh gets in under the liner it just sits in between the liner and bed frame and rusts.. we found a great epoxy coating that we just applied into our box truck.. but I don't think it would work for pickup truck beds.

Decided to go with the spray in liner. This brand is called "Bullet Liner". It's way nicer than I even imagined!
Looks good Bryan, about 10 years ago I looked into spray insulation, they have that Foametix product, may look into that. Truck looks good, is it S/H resistant?

They said "Chemical resistant" and it's supposed be a little stronger than Line x. Apparently the company was started by one of the Line-x owners.
