On anything low pressure I use Rectorseal True-Blu. It is better than Teflon paste and has never failed me. When it comes to anything pressure washer related I use both True-Blue and Teflon tape. Paste first then tape.

Thank Brett I've had some leaks on the skid that I have been building and this may just be the fix.

I've been using it for three years now on all the threaded PVC fittings. It dries harder than Teflon and has never leaked. It will fix your leaks.

It's funny timing how this thread was posted!!! I was just putting a order together for Dultmeir, for a winter rebuild/rehab for my two rigs. I typically use Blue Monster Thread tape and love it, but I was thinking of trying Rectorseal after talking to a few guys in Florida last week. Soooo.. I ordered two cans just now, along with $700.00 bucks in other parts.
Thanks for input guys, it made my decision easier.

I like to use both a paste and tape,..seem to always be the best,..maybe overkill,..but it doesn't leak. Stainless on stainless is what gives me trouble,..well not anymore. Using the yellow Teflon tape made for gas lines along with the paste seems to work for me. But,..I will have to try the product mentioned above as well,..because I'm still always gun shy about stainless.
The yellow tape is a little thicker and fills the thread gaps a little better it seems.

Ahhhhh Jeff, the good old days of turmoil! We did talk a number of times. As to this thread... I have been doing both for years. It's cheap, take only a few mins. and fewer problems down the road that can take way more time that over kill.
