Hi there I'm new to this forum. I'm wondering what would be the best house wash surfactant to use. I'm located in canada so I don't know what's easiest to get here. Im thinking of using softwash systems Green wash but the exchange and duty is very expensive. Thanks in advance for all the help.

My personal opinion is to stay away from SWS. Try Dragon Grip from the power wash store.
Also, it would be a good idea to use the search bar where you will find the answer to most, if not all of your questions. We are more than willing to help but try to do some of the research first.

Let's not get side tracked here guys, Remember we have wide range of members here and we don't want to offend any of them. Its all personal preference Simon, some guys drive Chevy's and some guys drive Fords. Me I buy at Walmart and get the same results, if not better.

I agree with all three above. Stay away from SWS but some of the shelf stuff works better than the industry chems.

Start of with simple mixes and methods. Do some industry reading and tests then decide for yourself. Baby steps.

Simon,
It will be a personal and business preference that you will have to decide. All the soaps out work, it's just which one you want to use. I am a SWS guy and have been for four years now. It is a professional business choice I made and I utilize the crap oit of it. it really depends on what direction you want your company to go and grow. In the end, YOU are your business and that will need to be the selling point.

There are other Canadians here so hopefully one of them can help you out with where to go up there. I'm sure the guys at The Power Wash Store would be happy to lead you in the right direction. http://www.powerwashstore.com/

Art, I found that stuff you were telling me about from walmart. I'm going to try it on my next house. Do you use it on decks and concrete also?
