Any comments about the Rawhide black 4000 psi hose from the Power Wash Store? I currently only use grey.
Does it leave marks?

Not sure but I do know the blue hose sucks.
Something else to think about when buying a hose. You lose about 300 psi per 100' of 3/8" hose. I wish I had known that when I bought my new PW and hose. I would strongly suggest paying the extra money for the 1/2" hose if you will be running out longer distances.
In my case, we had to stretch out almost 300' and we lost right at 1000 psi to our surface cleaner.

Doug,
Why do you believe the blue one sucks?
We lose only about 100 psi per 100 ft of 3/8 hose. Our truck has 250' of 3/8" pw hose on the reel and another 50' stored in the bed. When we do the resorts up here parking for the truck is at a premium. I would hate to pull 1/2" hose. Just my experience/opinion.

I agree on the blue hose. It leaves marks especially as it gets older. That was my concern with the black. I use nothing but grey but I just don't feel the last ones I bought lasted like they should.

Never had that issue with Blue hose? The Black without a doubt!
Maybe mid week during a roll up - we grab a Poland Spring Bottle crush it around a hose with a rag in it / some simplegreen keeps the
muck off! Black Hose never again!

Blue marks everywhere! It marked things up so bad I had nightmares for a week. "Look, blue marks on the moon.....How do we get them off.....ahhhhhhhh"
Yes, 1/2" hose can be a PITA but just get one or two lengths. Use the 3/8" for close up work but use the 1/2" for further away. If you need to stretch 300' just use two of the 1/2" and one of the 3/8". This way you get to keep most of your pressure.
