A recurring catchphrase on this forum is the dilution is the solution. I am trying to understand the dilution path of SH in a typical downstreaming setup
Obviously, hose length, spray tips and hydraulic head are factors that will affect the draw rate but for arguments sake here is a table that below reflects my understanding.

I have recently purchased a 4.5 GPM pressure washer, chemical injector and made my own spray tip using a 1/4"tail (or barb). I was trying to measure the draw rate and it seems I am only getting 18:1

To measure draw rate I used a flow meter and fixed amount of liquid to draw.
It is very hard to source injectors locally and I am thinking the injector is not suitable for the flow rate of the pump.
Question: What else could explain such a low draw rate?

Get a hold of some General Pump Hi Draw injectors- 3-5 gpm in your case. Also make sure the bleach you are using is not old.
I use a 4 gpm machine with the 3-5 gpm General Pump hi draw injector and the dirtiest of homes cleans up down streaming a
50/50 mix of 12.5% sodium hypoclorite and water, with 5 ounces of elemonator added as soap. 5 gallons of mix. Good Luck!
