Those side doors will make things to easy you won't have to go into the truck while working. I can't wait to see the finished product!

It's a cheap piece of junk but hey......I gotta get back to work. We start the build in the morning. We have been gutting my house all week so have not had time to work on the truck.
Been a hard few days....mostly because I am a simple man. "Stuff" means very little to me but loosing my kids pictures was heart breaking. They towed my Harley away and I loved that bike but the pictures can't be replaced. Then today they hauled off my F-350 and will be taking our F-450 and dodge over the next few days. None of those equals the loss of the pictures.
The truck is going to be great even though it's a 2000 model Isuzu PoS. The rig only has 126K miles on it but I think those miles have been really hard miles and she was put away wet too many times. $5000 with that box I just had to go for it. I can replace the motor and have a great rig so I'm happy.
At the end of the day the truck has 4 roll up doors and the shelving will allow me to stack 4 reels on the drivers side for now. Later I can buy new stackable reels and make things even better. Everything should fit inside including our main ladder that is a 28 footer. I also plan to buy more of these if this one works out the way I think it will.
This truck seems like it fits every need we have.
I loved the service truck because of all the storage bins but it just was a bit small for what I want to do....then comes the lack of a bathroom for an older guy with a bladder issue.....:}
I loved the flatbed because we could fit everything on it but nothing was secure. A flatbed also has no advertising space!.....then comes the lack of a bathroom for an older guy with a bladder issue.....:}
I hated the thought of a box truck because I don't want to be limited to running our hoses out the back. With this truck we have a service bed, a flatbed, a box truck, a rolling billboard and a bathroom all rolled into one!
By the way Eric.....I hate you my friend. You stepping up to the plate like that was unreal and I will be forever grateful.

NICE!
Now you just have to put a big azz lift kit and huge tires to be safe for the next flood!
Best wishes on the recovery.

I talked with Doug today and he's got the truck running and has been working for a few days. He said he has really limited internet access to provide updates, but is appreciative if the prayers as they get things back on track.

Been crazy here and Allstate sucks.......just saying. I believe in paying for quality and I thought that's what I was getting from Allstate but......they really really suck.
This new truck will pay for itself and more in no time. Even without the wrap it just looks impressive when you open the side doors. I have only been working for the past two days and I had someone walk over to talk with us. He said it "Nice set up, I can tell you guy's know what you're doing".
I am LOVING this truck.
I'll post more but I currently need to sit in the neighbors driveway to catch internet from him....:} Homeless sucks but never giving in or giving up. Thanks for the prayer and help!
